Day 3 - Bhopal - Sanchi - Vidisha - Chanderi - Lalitpur - Jhansi

Staying overnight with family has its own perks.Early morning adrak tea and Hot parathas was one of the tasty perk.I started with a foggy morning and even after 1-2 hours of riding it was not ready to give up.Early morning,empty roads and tussle with the fog..I reached Sanchi and parked myself for a tea break.

Sanchi Stupa is a remarkable specimen of Buddhist art.This place is quite popular for its stupas, monolithic Asokan pillar, temples, monasteries and sculptural wealth.These architectural beauty belongs to the early Mauryan period.

Asoka - One of the great Indian emperor of its time laid the foundation of this religious center.This stupa was originally a low structure of brick, half the diameter of the present edifice hemispherical in shape with raised terraces at the base. It was enclosed by a wooden railing and a stone umbrella at the top. This Great Stupa served as a nucleus to the large Buddhist establishment during the later period.The way this site is maintained and conserved is really commendable.Very neat and clean with security guards.











As i finished with diving down in the History lane i moved forward towards Chanderi.In a small town i saw Garam Samosa and Kachori's being prepared,I stopped immediately to have a break.As i stopped and got down from the bike,within fraction of second..I was surrounded by 10-12 peoples or i say my bike was surrounded.All of them must be thinking 'Where this alien came from'.As i sat down for tea with other people's..they started asking the same old question's.'Kitne ki he','Kitna Deti he','Itni mehengi kyu','Kitne CC ki he' etc.Instead of getting irritated with the same questions again and again..i enjoyed answering their questions..It was simplicity of these peoples and how innocently they were asking these questions .
