Mudastic experience at The Mudrush - Fort Jadhavgarh

Excitement was exceeding its limits and the wait was killing me.By looking at the crazy videos and muddy photos of the Kolad Mudrush February 2013 event, I was getting restless as hell. Not sure about the others but I didn't slept for the entire night.

That unbearable wait came to an end and we headed to Fort Jadhavgarh with Bikerni gang and Photokatha team.

I could literally feel the energy around, people gearing up for mud marathon, people participating in groups shouting "Hush Hush Mudrush"..everbody was so pumped up.

Neon Buddies team going crazy about it.

Second season of Mudrush turned out to be more crazy and much more fun than the Feb 2013 one.Don't believe me ? Than take your time to go through the photos and text.

It had the mud slinging, structure climbing, muscle burning and hill-climb pushing your thighs to sing a painful tune with Mud all around you.Well,I have other perspective on looking at it,I call it smile while you get fit. As you and your team work through the organic and man-made challenges, you will be entertained & exercised but still be able to smile and enjoy that well earned beer at the end.

Bikerni's showing thier Mud'Gam style move.

Location of event was very fantastic with all the facilities and Logistic's in place. Those who don't know about Fort Jadhavgarh,it was Built in 1710 by "Pilaji Jadhavrao", a valiant Maratha general, the Jadhav Gadh fortress lies in the heart of the Jadhav Wadi - a 25 acre Land to the east of Pune restored in 2007. An imposing and impressive structure, the Fort Jadhavgadh Pune is now a unique luxury hotel and it stands, quite literally, in two worlds: the traditional and the modern.

Traditional welcome to the Participants

Everything was very well organized, you can simply dump all your luggage here and can roam around anywhere.

Nobody was going to get bored, apart from the mudastic marathon..there were beer games and music for the entertainment.

Before the race, warm up exercises in progress.

I spoke with couple of people about their experiences and they were quite happy with it.At last everybody was winner and there wasn't a single soul who started the race and left it half way.It was so much fun and excitement that..even the unhealthy and fat kind, completed the race with a smile in the face.

And the winners being facilitated in a special stage.

At the finish line of the race, quick shower for everyone

More Winners

And this doesn't ended here. The rest evening and night was spent on dancing, grooving, jumping in the tunes of these awesome DJ's and Band's.
