Day 1 - Melbourne - Lang Lang - Leongatha - Tidal River(Wilsons Promonotary National park)
Map For today

Two days dedicated to live a different kind of experience. An impromptu plan got materialized over the Friday night drinks and when we woke up in the morning..we were on our way to Wilsons Promonotary for Trekking and Camping.Camping was fine until all of the fellow faggots decided to do trekking as well.We rented a Hyundai I20 on Saturday morning, stuffed camping material in the back and headed for Wilsons Prom.It was just 150-160 kms from there..max 2 hours drive.
Me and my fellow roommates (Neeraj Singhai,Nitesh Agrawal,Nikunj Ghodasara) were part of this unplanned adventure.Only two of us were having driving experience, its obvious i didn't had any experience in driving.Seriously,I haven't driven a four wheeler so far except a tractor
With few coffee and chips break,we made it to the Wilsons Prom National park.We were at Darby Saddle from where the trekking begins. The board at the start stated
Sparkes Lookout - 2.4 Km
Lookout Rocks - 3.0 KM
Tounge Point - 06.0 KM
We started like professional trekkers..saying 'Its a piece of cake'.And in 500-600 mtrs everyone was ready to head back and move ahead towards Tidal River. But somehow we motivated each other and and we kept on moving. The entire trekking route was filled with beautiful wild flowers. So we were taking plenty of breaks to catch the breath and capture the beauty around.

The ups and downs in the route was making the trek more difficult to us.So there we were scolding and blaming each other..whose idea was this. This continued until we made it to the first point.
Sparkes Lookout - The view from there was completely worth it.To reach here we took a diversion of 400 mtr from the main trekking route.

We reached back to the main trekking route and we started voting..whether we should move ahead or we should go back.Though the thought of returning back got more votes,we still continued ahead. Thanks to my motivational speech on 'Its Now Or Never'.And just when we moved few mtrs,it started to drizzle.Well it didn't drizzled enough to break our spirits.
The distance written on the Darby Saddle car park was definitely incorrect. We walked almost 4 kms to reach the Lookout rock.

Three Buggers

We dropped the idea of going ahead to Tounge point and started our return.Return part was much faster. Some more lovely wild flowers

TO BE CONTD
Cheers
