Started from Srinagar around 9-10 AM. Why..Oh we thought our bikes had got dirty so let’s launder them up, Poor we..We didn't knew what is ahead.
So the pilgrimage continued towards LEH,and yeah we just had morning Tea in the breakfast..Assuming 'we will get plenty of chai-breakfast tapri's on our way'.
After few Kms from Srinagar..We sighted Snow Mountains.
And the lovely river
And then met few Bullet racers, who bustled with us for odd 10 Kms :D..But we were just maintaining our pace, they only were dropping back and zooming ahead of us.
I just don't know why people show their impaired attitude and defective racing instincts on the roads :D :D
There we reached Sonmarg.Stopped for few clicks and zoomed ahead.
And it started raining, our worst nightmare. My hands started to freeze and with that we started to cross Zojila.
Somehow I convinced myself that tough things had started to happen so hold yourself together and cross this place slowly and gradually with minimal breaks.
And while we were crossing the zig-zag twisties of Zojila we got stuck in the middle because of the incoming Army Truck traffic. There goes our one hour.

Reached at Zojila War Memorial, where were stopped for Name,DL no and Vehicle number entry. Had few clicks and started moving towards Drass 'The coldest inhabited in the INDIA'
Oh we were very-very starved.Rushed to the first stall in the Drass for immediate treatment.There we met some bullet fellas who were out of fuel. We were carrying some 2-3 litres of Petrol, so we gave it to them.. As we had plenty of it in our tanks to reach Kargil and Tank up there.
After a good breakfast break, we headed towards Kargil.

Ah !!..Finally we met some of our type peoples. Few chat and sutta sessions and we started on our own way. They planned to reach LEH via Batalik route..and we wanted to visit Lamayaru Monastery.
Road was not at all good,the best strech we got there.
It was 6 o clock in the evening and we did some non-stop stretches’ was feeling totally drained so we pulled up at a village and had some snacks.
Lamayaru was another 40 Kms from there.

We reached Lamayaru by 7:15.Last 10 kms of road from Lamayaru were in very good condition. Freshly laid tar with proper markings.
Checked-in in a hotel for 400 bucks. We were damn tired today.
So we ended the day with few pegs of Mc Dowell rum along with some Veg and Non-veg Thupka ( Ladakhi food).It was Oodelicious.
