Intial Plan
Short and Sweet Triplog :
DAY 1 : MUMBAI TO HYD
Plan Planned, Bag packed, Spirits high, fully excited and all ready to roll. Started early on Friday morning by 4 am. Soon two of us we were hitting NH4 eating Km's.We did Mumbai to Pune Non-stop. Stopped in Magarpatta city for a much needed tea break.
Now we were running on NH9 for our first halting destination. Road condition was pretty bad with worst traffic as a add on. Bus drivers and Truck driver were driving quite pathetically. They were overtaking on the two lane ignoring the incoming Two-Wheelers. We had to go off from the road every now and then. In between we stopped at a canal to click some shots, Actually we followed an off-road going along the Canal (off from NH9) before we found a SHITYARD on our way, Uff !! that place was way too much smelly .

Bibek baabu - Angry Young Man
After riding an hour and so we stopped for a Breakfast at a Dhaba...And there Bibek got a special call ...so after all rap up activities we started from where we stopped
So as I mentioned, There was nothing much to see in the NH9,so the only thing we did is ride, ride and ride.
But we still managed to find a picturistic Lake on our way.

Misc
Lake was so tempting and the weather was so hot ..that we thought thrice of taking few dips in the water. But to avoid the wastage of time, we convinced ourselves to move ahead. Reached Solapur and then finally Hyderabad at 7 Pm in the evening with couple of Tea breaks and a lunch break.
Plan was to reach Paradise Hotel (very famous and known landmark in HYD), meet my college chuddy buddy and stay at his place. But there was a lot of traffic jam along with some really scary driving expirience. Finally we made it to Paradise Hotel, where I met my friend and we went to his place. Booze session, with plenty of chicken and there we called End of the DAY.
Day 2 - HYD
Day 2 was reserved for sight seeing in HYD.Salarjung Museum, Golconda Fort, Char minar etc etc.But Day 2 started with a bad note. Main headline in TOI "HYD BANDH BY TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti)".
My friend advised to drop the plan for Charminar (Old HYD city). So we started for Salarjung and Hussain Sagar Lake. My friend (Vaibhav) he was supposed to take us around all these place, which he himself was visiting for first time
So we were roaming in HYD roads, taking turns,U-turns asking for directions and sometime trapped in a sick mannered traffic. No respect and fear for Mamu's.Nobody following traffic rules.
After seeing this shitty condition of traffic in HYD,Respect for Mumbai traffic and condition got increased. (HYD peoples please don't mind, it’s just a personal opinion )
Finally we reached Salar Jung Museum, Entry fees was dirt cheap ( 10 rs per person as far as I remember). But we got disappointed when we came to know that Camera was not allowed inside. We got inside and roamed for 5-10 mins and we got pretty bored..Didn't even cover the first floor completely.
About Museum -
The Salarjung Museum is the third largest museum in India housing the biggest one-man collections of antiques in the world. It is well known throughout India for its prized collections belonging to different civilizations dating back to the 1st century. Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan Salar Jung III (1889-1949), former Prime Minister of the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, spent a substantial amount of his income over thirty five years to make this priceless collection, his life's passion. The collections left behind in his ancestral palace, 'Diwan Deodi' were formerly exhibited there as a private museum which was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru in 1951. Old timers believe that the present collection constitutes only half of the original art wealth collected by Salar Jung III. His employees siphoned off part of it, since Salar Jung was a bachelor and depended upon his staff to keep a vigil. Some more art pieces were lost or stolen during the shifting of the museum from Dewan Devdi to the present site. Later in 1968, the museum shifted to its present location at Afzalgunj and is administered by a Board of Trustees with the Governor of Andhra Pradesh as ex-officio chairperson under the Salar Jung Museum Act of 1961.

Then we moved to nearby.. Hussain Sagar lake, Reminded me of Upper lake BHOPAL...
About Hussain sagar lake
The Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad is an enchanting lake and is the largest man-made Lake(Very Unclean one ) in Asia. It was built by Ibrahim Qutub Shah in 1562, on the tributary of the River Musi. Hyderabad and Secunderabad are the two cities that are connected to each other by the Hussain Sagar Lake. They are popularly known as twin cities.
The place where the Hussain Sagar Lake is located is called 'Tank Bund'. The Lake doubles up as an important landmark as well as picnic and recreation spot.
One thing that lured me at the Hussain Sagar Lake was the massive Buddha statue that stands majestically in the middle of this placid lake. The 16 meter tall, 350-tonne monolithic gigantic sculpture rises high from the calm waters of the scenic Hussain Sagar Lake. The statue is entirely made of white granite, finely sculpted and stands grandly on a wide dais amidst the glistening waters of the lake.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
We were damn hungry after all the inefficient efforts we had put from the morning. So it was time for some Hyderabadi Biryani...
Went to Paradise hotel (Where we spotted a CBR600).. First floor all full..Second floor...All packed..Third floor - Huff,There we got some room for three of us.Ordered 2 Chicken Biryani's.I had to admit that, it was the yummiest, lovliest, tastiest Biryani I had in my entire life.Aur stomach was all packed, and everyone was getting sleepy. Me and Bibek said lets go to Golkunda fort. But Vaibhav suggested that hitting golkunda fort is a bad idea in the afternoon, how about a boat ride to the statue of Buddha, it a nice place which gives a feeling of immense peace.
Everyone agreed on that.
We went to some place on the Necklace road (Peoples plaza I guess).Did some time pass by clicking pictures, Having Jalebi and Some Go-Karting (electric car one).
Some Pics
I just love to click flowers- Just need the right lens
Took the Ferry to the statue
Some one is feeling very much sleepy
Finally
Me giving some SERIOUS photography tips
After coming back, we headed back to home and slept as we planned to leave in the evening for our further Journey....
Day 2-3-4
We woke up at around 6pm.And by mutual agreement we decided to leave. But Vaibhav was suggesting to hang out at Golkunda Fort. And we locked on our decision of moving ahead.
We started by 7 Pm from Vaibhav's place with heavy heart (at least me ).My college buddy..Very pure from heart, very cheerful person and one of the very strong person I had ever met in my life. Miss you brother.
Again the NH9,crowdy 2 lane with trucks, trunks, buses all over the road. We encountered some heavy traffic in the night. At the exit of the HYD we saw the way for Ramoji film city,we were planning to peek in there in the morning. But time didn't allowed us.We were doing 70-80's easily and we were seriously trying to limit us on that speed only.Because as per a bikers perspective that highway is very dangerous type of.
Keeping all the safety measures in mind we were riding in moderate speeds.
We reached Vijayawada around 12-1 AM.Finally a sigh of relief as NH5 was arrived.Though we had enough sleep at Vaibhav's place, but bibek started feeling sleepy.and the feeling passed to me as well.So we called off for a tea break.
Stopped at a tea stall, where we came centre of attraction.I don't know but we bikers have some strong gravity which pulls crowds. So we had our cup of tea and we were on the road again. Now comes the worst thing which happened first time on our ride. we encountered Very very bad FOG.It was that bad, that we were not even able to see anything.Forget about riding. But here comes the biker god to rescue. We found a scorpio doing 20 KM/hr.We just blindly followed that, and decided to follow it until it goes off route OR we goes out of energy to ride.
Just before Rajamundry (Don’t remember the name of place) bibek said "He cannot ride anymore,he need to sleep now now !!" Ahh finally you speak up I said, else I was about to raise the same concern.
So we pulled off from NH5 at the first town we got in our way.Clock ticked 5 AM.After little bit of enquiring and bargaining we got a room at 200 Rs till 11 AM morning.Parked the bikes, unpacked our stuff and dropped to the bed as quickly we can.
My senses came back to life in the morning at 10 AM...When bibek was yelling at me "(@(&@*))(*!) chalna nai he kya " . So got all the daily and usual stuff cleared out and checked out from the room at 11 AM as we promised. And yeah in this hurry,i forgot my 50 $ Abercrombie T at that place.
Back on NH5,Clear-Crisp and Plain roads with clear vision. It was like we were hungry from the ages for these kind of roads. We ripped and ripped hard.
We stopped at a bridge for butt break and some click wick sessions. In between one Anna came on cycle started enquiring about us.We were not able to understand anything as he was niether speaking Hindi or English nor Bengali. He thought we are terrorists :P
He noted down our bikes number and zoom passed ahead of us in his 0 BHP vehicle. We ignored him and continued our shoot
ANother ANNA who was very intrested in knowing about US and our trip.Good he knew some hindi
We reached Vishakhapatnam around 2 PM.Stopped for Lunch in between. Then again started ASAP as wanted to make the most in daylight.
here I repeat it again we ripped and ripped hard. But since Sun has to set, so he went to the west. and here we were fearing the dark. Journey so far was not that much tiring as we didn't encountered much traffic and we were just sitting on our bikes opening the full throttle. So not much effort and energy wasted on steering, overtaking and other activities
We decided to go ahead, until our body and mind allows. And they allowed and performed exceptionally well.
But again
1) We encountered some very heavy FOG in the between
2) 110 Km or road stretch where, there is no road at all... in the name of GQ.
3) And finally we were little bit tired.
We stopped at Bhubaneshwar for some accommodation but didn't got any. So we slept at the front of a dhaba with full gears on,Including Helmet for an hour.
So our dear friend Fog was with us whole night till the morning. Here is some proof and sign before we lost him
My baby shivering in the cold
We stopped at a petrol pump before kharagpur for regular refreshing activities.
took some sleep sitting on our bikes, while we were waiting for the turns for the toilet.
Had tea and smoke and started towards Kolkata.I will cut short the riding part and come to the end of the ride part. We reached Kalyani around 12 PM afternoon.Recieved a warm welcome from Everyone in the family. Immediately rushed to bathroom had a thorough bath. Ate like a pig in the lunch. And went to sleep.
Ahh..I was screaming in the pain and Joy. Lovely bed after 24hours of tough prayer.
Day 5-6-7-8-9-10
Day 5-6-7-8-9 was just for rest and had some good time with Bibek's family and my friends staying in Kolkata. And yeah i did spended very cheerful and lovely moments with each and every one in the family.I will never get tired to speak about the yummiest chicken and some very new dishes which i had at Bibek's place. When it comes to laziness, bibek is the best in the trade. But his Dad,very active man in this age.He is a very good artist too.His Jija Ji very cool minded person. If he would not have accompanied me to the station,i would not have been able to board the train with my bike. Will get to the story later according to the flow.I can't describe in words about the Royal treatment i got.with lots and lots of love. I miss home so much
Now let go the emotional atyachar..Back to the log.
In between bibek was busy with the company Joining stuff and office work.I took out some time to explore the place my self. Also the first thing in the to do list was to get the bike serviced. Also the chain - sprocket was couting his last days.Gave my bike for servicing in a Yamaha showroom near by Park Street.also came to know that the price of R15 in Kolkata is bit less ..1.4 lacs only as comapred to Mumbai 1.11 lacs.Another strange thing which happened was,i got a call from LNT INFOTECH for Technical round when i was roaming in Park street.Oh hell i said, give me 10 mins to settle down i said. Finally i got a place Baskin Robbins to sit and have the interview. You guys can easily guess the final outcome of the interview.
Walked around 10 Kms in the park street in total on all these days.Visted Victoria Memorial and the new howrah bridge.Travelled in the local transport buses, yellow taxi's and ofcourse the Metro rail.Amazing expirience i had with all these.
Some pics from Victoria Memorial

Some flowers outside the Museum
Camera was not allowed inside the Museum. But the museum is worth visiting.Outside the museum there was garden all around.Full with love birds.Infact caught plenty of love birds in action,Damn i missed my zooom camera
Took a cab for the nearby Howrah Bridge (new one)
It was time to go back home and rest,Asked cabwala to drop me at the nearest metro station. He dropped me at Park Street. There I took train for Garia.Trains were less crowded as compared to the trains I had traveled in Mumbai and Delhi. Must have been non-peek hour..Reached Garia and took the local transport bus for Salt lake, where I was residing at my friends place for couple of days.
After reaching home slept tight. These 2-3 days at friends place were full of fun, masti, roaming and booze.Bibek's mom was very worried about me.That where am i,how I am doing .Mom's they are always super duper Caring.
After I came back to Kalyani at Bibek's place. We went for a short ride.An old historic temple nearby and a Church.
Looks like a fort if seen from other angle's

And Misc
Ram teri ganga maili ho gayi papiyon ke paap dhote dhote
I had another day left that was Friday before I take off for Mumbai on Saturday. So we came up with a plan to visit a nearby flower garden in Kalyani.
So here goes some flower shots of our ride to the nearby garden.
We clicked hundreds of pictures,as the garden has a good variety of flowers.Garden was very well maintained.
So the friday also went with the usual time pass activities.
Now came the Saturday.Being an Engineer I had learn one thing very seriously and religiously that is to do the preps at the last moments. So I did the packing stuff on the Saturday only. Also 120 rasgullas for my bhukkad friends and office mates who were waiting for me.
My trains departure time was 8:30 PM.But we left at 5 pmish as the Howrah station is bit far from Kalyani. Also the traffic situation on the connecting roads is pathetic as well.Initialy Bibek only was coming with me for a see-off.Later Jija insisted to come and finally joined us.
Got a lovely, emotional (senti'wala) see-off from Bibek's family...and we were on our way to Howrah Station.
As expected we encountered plenty of traffic jams, before we reached station finally in 90 mins approx.
Now the harder part.Enquiring and doing the bilty work for loading the bike in train. The office where we had to carry out this work was flooded with agents.Later on we came to a conclusion that we had to hire a agent for this work.He asked 1200 rs for all the paper work and packing + whatever charges needed for builty. But Jija ji argued with him for a while and here was on 500 Rs .Thanks to Jija ji.If he would not have been there, those agents would have robbed us :P
So in total it costed 500 + 1700 for the bike to be transferred from Kolkata to Mumbai.Phew !!!
After doing all booking work we went to the platform. Finally train arrived around 8.I boarded the train and ask Bibek and Jija ji to leave with a Thank you note and Couple of Jadu ki Jhappis.
Train started to move at 8:30 PM.It was a long journey ahead.
I reached Mumbai on the Monday morning at 5:30 AM.I was bit scared as I was told that carrying bike in the train causes lots of damages. So I had made up my mind for that in advance.
A coolie helped me to take out the bike to the check point. After some document checking formalities and some bribe.I was out from the CST station.Ahh,this smelly air.I missed it a lot .
Reached home in an hour and slept.
Another big ride, without any hiccups, without any crash and without any problem. Some very valuable, memorable moments of life. Thanks to my dear friend Bibek
Cheers
Biru
