PAVANA DAM RIDE

Pavana Lake :- Pavana Lake is essentially an artificial lake brought into existence due to the Pavana dam. A picturesque sight, the Pavana Lake, along with the Pavana Dam.Offering much-needed solitude and some peace and quiet, the Pavana Lake is not a crowded place like Lonavala. Tucked away around 19 kilometers inside Kamshet, the Pavana Lake offers a soothing outing for the tired city soul. A tiny getaway in Kamshet.
Total Kms :- Approx 275
Riders :- Mechanic,Ketan_R15 ,Darkknight ,Shadowboy,bibekjyoti.de,Durvesh,Beruoist
Ride was total fun with ..The Dam Scene,The Bunglow Scene's,The River Scene ,The Food Scene and ofcourse the pleasure of riding.

Another unplanned ride to an unknown destination, before leaving for Pavana dam we weren't aware that we will we witnessing another heaven on the earth which is untouched by the crowd as compared to the near by places lonavla, Khandala. As usual we all met at the Kalamboli McD around 7 Pm.When all the riders arrived we started moving towards Kamshet.Kamshet is little bit ahead around 19Km ahead from Lonavla. So we started cruising at the straight and smooth NH4 with the lane disipline.DK was leading as usual. After couple of hours riding we reached lonavla as it's not that far from Mumbai. We decided to have some breakfast to kill the stomach beat. Stopped in a restaurant in the situated in the outer area of Lonvala. The best option available at the hotel was the MISAL PAV.Everyone ordered missal pav and tea to end up with the all kind of thirsts. After having breakfast we headed towards our ultimate destination. Reached Kamshet in couple of mins and took right turn from their for the PAVANA DAM route. The tarmac didn't looked well. It was kind of offroad..No road at all. so we were moving slowly and gradually after moving 15-16 Kms for around 30 mins we reached the lake. and what we saw is the paradise on the earth...mouthwatering(for bikers)..jaw dropping place i have ever seen in my life so far. The dam was small but amount of water it was holding was gallons. I wasn't able to spot the end of the dam from either sides. The water was so tempting that. Everyone was dying to take a bath. But local warned us that it’s bit deep. So we took a boat ride for satisfy our deed. But the boat ride was not enough so we took the bike and went to the river down the road and satisfied our deed to the deepest and fullest. We chilled in the water for almost an hour and then later on took a Sunbath. It was time to move ahead. My fellow bikers told me that the route in which we have came from Kamshet ends at the Lonavla at the other end. It was the oldest highway to reach MUMBAI-PUNE...even before the NH4.So we moved ahead and found one more spledourful place. There was 1/2 Km stretch of road surrounded by Rock walls of 30-40 feets. That was an amazing place. We lined up our bikes and had loads of pictures. Now with so much real enjoyment, entertaintment and work everyone was badly starving. Reached lonavla after passing a stretch of couple of more kilometers. Stopped in a Hotel located in the Main Lonavla market. Ordered variety of tasty foods.
Ahh..Sookoon i said (satisfied)...After completing the Kadhai chicken and a Large peg of Blenders Pride. After paying the bill we started moving back to our home. it took another two hours to reach home.
And i dropped to bed after reaching home, after a quick refreshing session. Another beautiful day of life spent wisely..Spended in the best way.

Some beautiful shots...
